The greatest command is to Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind, strength, and soul. And the 2nd greatest command is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.
The love spoken of in these verses is Agape Love -- a Godly love ... a love of actions and attitudes, not a love of feelings or emotions.
The actions of agape love are spelled out for us in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Each month we take one of those actions and examine it in the context of loving God, loving our neighbor, and loving ourselves. It's a practical, "shoe-leather" approach to living a life of Godly love. Consider yourself invited, and join us in the Love Study!
